Gareth Lewis is a Creative Director with twenty years experience working in global retail.
Having Graduated from Nottingham Trent University (UK) with a Ba Hons in Fine art, Gareth Quickly carved out his career in London as a Footwear & accessories designer working for some of London’s most prestigious fashion lifestyle brands.
After spending six years in London & achieving multiple senior level Creative Roles he moved to New York to assume the Role of Global Men’s Design Director at Cole Haan.
Gareth Spent several years in the role and was pivotal in the launch of the brand’s biggest selling “Lunar Grand” shoe collection. Gareth also creatively led all brand collaborations working with the likes of Hiroshi Fujiwara (Fragment Design), Dover street Market’s Rei Kawakubo & Artist Tom Sachs.
He then spent the next seven years working as the Creative Director For Anthropologie Home taking ownership of all Design, Merchandising & creative photography. During those seven years Gareth honed his leadership skills managing large teams of creatives & eventually worked across multiple areas of the business.
Gareth is currently the Chief Creative Officer for Soho Home Managing all areas of the business. So far he has helped reinvigorated the Soho Home brand by carefully building on an already strong brand identity, adding more than five hundred new products since launching in August 2020.
Since July 2019 Soho Home has seen significant growth in all areas of the business with a total website re-platform, a massively expanded product assortment, entirely new product categories & the launch of five new retail sites across the UK & US.
